Join Closed Circuit Studios
No matter your skill level or experience — you can join. We welcome complete beginners and seasoned editors alike. Curiosity and commitment matter more than a reel.
Two steps to officially join
- 1Complete the application form on this page.
- 2Register for CCS on our school activities site, Epsilon: epsilon.stuysu.org/ccs
Both steps are required — the form tells us about you, and Epsilon is how the school records your membership.
What you get
- Write, direct, shoot, act, and edit real productions
- Learn on the job with an established, collaborative team
- Help produce our school tour video and original comedy series
- Start at any skill level and grow into crew lead and management roles
Schedules vary by crew. We meet Monday through Friday, averaging 3 to 10 meetings a month across all of our groups — the important thing is having a flexible after-school schedule for your role. We do not meet during school breaks or over the summer.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. We will contact you at the personal email you provide.
